She has been in private practice in northern New Jersey since 1985 and has clinical privileges at Englewood Hospital, Englewood , NJ and Pascack Valley Hospital, NJ, where she has participated on several committees and has chaired the same day surgery committee.

• hearing rehabilitation

By acting as a consultant to drug companies and publishing firms she also helps to convey timely medical information. Staying current is very important to Dr. Blome and in light of this she took part in FDA clinical trials for the now popular Insta-trak guided endoscopic sinus surgery system. She has received recognition from community leaders and has been appointed to the Hearing Aid Dispensers Examining Committee by the Governor of New Jersey and to the Cresskill Board of Health by the Mayor of Cresskill and she was instrumental in establishing hearing standards for crossing guards for the town of Leonia.
